Re: Yellow Head Outbreaks at Start - How long does it last?
This is pretty much what I am currently going through. It has almost been 4 weeks for me as well but only 2 100%. Well, it will be that way this weekend, so you are a bit ahead of me. I've been breaking out with the tiny zits for over a week now. I hope it goes away for both of us! If not I'm thinki...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
My mom, who is a nurse and strong holistic health advocate, has just showed me this: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/05/31/simple-secrets-to-eliminating-acne-for-good.aspx I understand that the wai diet is all about limiting the pinching of sebum canals, but this is about lim...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Before Wai I would get some tiny bumps but not nearly as many and they would go away faster with a face mask or something. I would get the occasional bigger one somewhere on my face but most of the time they don't get THAT big. Never had cysts. I always used topical medication as I said and that wou...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Why do I have to eat that often if I'm adding oil? Isn't that the whole point of adding oil? Squeezing one glass of orange juice (about 3 oranges) takes a while and doesn't last that long. How can you just carry it around and drink it throughout the day without it going bad? I thought drinking it so...

Re: My Daily Eating Plan
Really? When did the fish part get revised? Is there another book I should read? I'm very happy you said that because now I might get some fish. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in this, but some believe that dental hygiene is not about brushing or disinfecting, but rather eating the right...

Re: My Daily Eating Plan
What I meant was I would like to eat 4 yolks instead of 2. 2 in the morning, 2 at night. But the diet rules say only to eat 2, so I'm wondering if that would be too much.

My Daily Eating Plan
I will most likely not be eating any nuts or fish due to poor supply. I would love to eat fish (I love sashimi and all sushi), but there are no places that do not freeze the fish and it is difficult to tell if the fresh-never-frozen kind at the store is really fresh enough to eat raw. Any advice on ...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Thanks, but I've eaten coconut oil for a long time already. I used it for cooking, popcorn (I absolutely love popcorn....one of the things I miss most lol), or just drizzling over veggies instead of butter. I have read about many health benefits one can get from coconut oil, and it tastes pretty goo...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Eating non-organic is very important to my family so I try to stick with it as much as I can. Unless of course I'm eating out for special occasions, but all grocery bought food (especially on a diet) should be organic. And if I'm nut buying my own food this summer, I don't really have a choice. I wi...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Thanks for the reply. I'm not giving up yet. Just frustrated and confused. I might have more success when I'm back at school, working, and buying my own food. I constantly have to rely on my parents and they don't seem to realize how many oranges I need. We eat all organic and it is very expensive t...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
For the past week, my skin has looked very different, but not in a good way. I have tiny zits all over my face and more than usual breakouts on my neck and chest. My back is also breaking out. The pimples on my face are much smaller than some of them could be, but they are everywhere. Every pore on ...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Thanks. I am going to avoid the coconut oil for now, at least on my face. I think I am eating more too. I can't always remember how much I eat but I never feel weak anymore. Lots of oranges, pineapple, kiwi, avocado, bananas, egg yolk, and coconut oil. And whatever else is lying around. Like I said ...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Worst breakout of my life :( Either its the diet "working" or the coconut oil or the lack of facewash/acne cream that I'm used to. BP may be bad for you but its the only thing that has helped in the past. I'm still staying away from it. I just hope my skin clears soon. It is so embarrassing to go out.

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Where does one get such a large amount of juice to drink all day? After squeezing three oranges by hand I have one medium/tall glass of juice. I can't afford to buy so much fruit and squeezing it all by hand takes a lot of energy as well. Blending/juicing can ruin the juice, right? Ether way, I don'...

Re: New to Wai diet, need motivation
Typical day: 2-4 Oranges/orange juice with either olive or coconut oil a few kiwi and bananas 2 egg yolks lots of water... It doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm a very small person (less than 5' tall) and I find it difficult to eat more than that. I'm getting the hang of it though by eating more cocon...
