Well in the past since my mom was very pro-supplement I've taken acidophilus in capsules, but the past few years since yogurts with active cultures are becoming trendy, I've eaten a lot of those. I try to switch them around because the contents aren't necessarily the same (Activia has added bifidoba...

Ohhh, so that's why 1 in 4 brazil nuts looks, smells or tastes bad (-_-)

Good to know that there's an explanation behind it.

Probiotics

Could pro-biotics possibly help (me with) the yeast? I was thinking the dry nose patches, but maybe also that could be related to dry eyes, bags under eyes, lack of saliva. I feel like there could be a systemic issue with all of these issues, but maybe not. Wouldn't eating egg-yolks have the same n...

I read somewhere that muskmelons were a family of melons that included cantaloupes and honeydew... Heh, it's ok, I was just wondering.

To me a chunk of meat like a filet mignon is a big meal ;o) Picture that in your stomach. Compare it to, say, a big fruit salad. Sure it may take a larger plate, but it's mostly water. Still, I know my husband would complain that the filet mignon is not filling the plate : P It's funny how we take i...

Yeah, I know. My not-so-strict diet now, is a compromise that I do for my husband, mostly. I do think the flexibility makes eating out so much easier, particularly when invited to dinner at someone's house, and it's also a great help when I'm low on groceries... but three more weeks, and I'll be liv...

Ohhh... Why didn't I think of that? Stupid habits ^.^;;

I've noticed that my head got used to being shampooed less often. Back when I used it every day, if I missed a day my hair looked horrible. Sounds like a drug addiction ;o)

well, it doesn't sound so terrible, it just falls under the munch food category because of the enzyme inhibitors. You don't get much juice out of one grapefruit anyway, I don't see how eating it once in a while would be a problem.

That gives me hope, because I'm someone who gets sick constantly. Every other week, usually. Doctors currently speculate that something is wrong with my kidneys that is causing infections that never really go away, but that I get used to and eventually stop noticing. I'll need tests to verify that t...
