Before I was mainly concerned about only doing Wai foods. But this often meant that I'd have to skip breakfast's and lunches (and sometimes consequatively) -- so this time I want to be far more organized and responsible. Have the days meals all planned out, control my hunger etc.. I've decided to ho...

Another attempt

Over 6 months ago, my dermatologist assured me that my skin would clear up extremely quickily with the latest course of drugs and regiment. But I still haven't got the results. His latest instructions are to "Wait 3 months and it will definitely improve". So now, for the first time in 5 years I'm co...

I dont know how big a chance that really is. When i was in Norway, we always drank water from streams. It was delicious and never made us sick. But sure, there must be plenty of contaminated waters. Here you can't drink anything downstream from animal farming, as animal feces/bacteria/worms are in ...

I just see my dog drinking water from dirty sources, eating old raw meat she has hidden then retrieved and not showing signs of sickness. Maybe I shouldn't believe what I see on TV, but on nature shows they frequently say to boil water or there is a big chance you'll get sick. Consider that your do...

I have no idea whether we can build resistance against parasites... Yes, but a tolerance rather than resistance. There is a school of thought that having (certain) parasites in the body is actually beneficial, as it's what the body normally (historically) has always had to fight. And without the pa...

kwashiorkor symptoms: 'flaky paint' dermatosis and edema in the legs and/or arms (so-called peripheral edema). This disease is very hard to treat; most children die, even when treated. Where are you getting this from? Wikipedia (and all other medical sources): Symptoms of kwashiorkor include a swol...

It's not more or less than a disease than scurvy. And they actually do have skin problems, but it's trivial (overly dry skin generally) in comparison to the fact they're starving to death.

I'll try that, thanks :)

Your link is to an article about kwashiorkor , which is a disease (symptoms: 'flaky paint' dermatosis and edema in the legs and/or arms). This disease is very hard to treat; most children die, even when treated. Im talking about 'hunger-edema' (swollen bellies, whereas the rest of the body is a ske...

Every morning I'd eat 3 or 4 egg yolks. And maybe every second day, I'd have some raw fish (salmon). That may have been too little. Can you please specify how much fish you ate? A typical serving of fish (salmon) was 100-150g for me. Which I'd eat every second or third day. I purposely tried to kee...

How strict did you do the diet? Extremely. The first week I ate some unshelled nuts and some store bought juice. But then when I found out I shouldn't, I stopped doing that. The next 7 weeks, I followed the diet perfectly. How much protein did you eat? Every morning I'd eat 3 or 4 egg yolks. And ma...

Re: corn and mushrooms?

Thats also why after a few bites of raw mushroom you dont feel like eating any more (how much that is differs per situation and person). When ever I buy mushrooms, I *always* overestimate, and buy five or six times as much as I actually end up being able to eat. I just get "sick of them" very easil...

If you were diagnosed with actual salmonellosis -- then you almost certainly didn't get it from eggs. 0.003% (1 in 30,000) of eggs contain traces of salmonella. On the other hand, if you look at chicken meat it can be over 60% infection rate (region specific). So what most likely happened, is you on...

As you said in your first post, you had trouble controlling your bloodsugar while on Wai, and sometimes you did not eat at all. As both RRM and I pointed out, this can cause acne because your body will decompose your muscle tissue for energy. If my understanding of how this works is right, then thi...

My advice is ditch the fasting and give Wai another chance! I'm really happy it works for you guys, but I gave it a solid two months without a mouthful of compromise. So if I were to do it again, it'd be the same thing, and if it was the same thing, I'd get the same results. Maybe your testosterone...
