Re: Any recommendations about slow cooker ware?
Thanks Dime :D From energy saving perspective slow cooker seems to be better for me, cuz my oven is a monster that takes so much power to run. Some slow cookers have a few different heat options.. Usually 2 plus keeping warm, but one I found had 4 temperatures and keeping warm. Thanks for the info.....

Sucrose = glucose + fructose So, in sucrose (= sugar) there is glucose and fructose, and as they go different pathways, they kind of complement each other (as fatty acids and glucose do). When you need much energy at once, ingesting a lot of glucose is better than ingesting a lo...

Any recommendations about slow cooker ware?
Hello all! I would like to know if there are some slow cookers out there that are tried and tested, or perhaps some recommended goods. I am thinking about it, just don't know what to look for. It would be nice if it was possible to set the temperature low. :) I tried to find a thread about this but ...

Re: My diet diary
Thank you Dime for your help :D This slow cooked thing? Have I missed something? Do you need a special gear to do that? Is that different from other cooking, in terms of those peptides and those bad HCA's or what they were called, those changes in the proteins etc? Interesting. What is YOUR reason f...

Re: My diet diary
So I'm back after a long lapsus. Have been keeping "halfwai", which is no wai.. but still. i have had a long period of serious anxiety and depression which started while I was on wai. I don't think it is related to diet mainly but to other life experiences. My biggest problem is to get this to work ...

Makes me wish I could read Portugese :) Hehe.. and he has a point there.. but on the other hand for me, it is ok as lon...

Re: Being forced to teach 'food groups' to kids.
You also need to teach them what mainstream society holds to be true. The same as with law for example. You have to teach students what the laws are, even if you question them.
You can't just teach them what you think is right instead.

They are not raw, they're cooked.. There are raw pink shrimp but they're rarer, and not usually sold in big bags..
They're sold for sushi..

Re: Photo Log on the Sample Diet
Go to the doctor or even better hospital and don't rely on our guesses.. But bein in the sun a lot with accutane is not a good idea, and they actually warn against it. I don't think coconut oil is like a soap, but it is a fat that can be used for soap making, like other fats.. I have not noticed any...

Re: Photo Log on the Sample Diet
And you don't use anything on your face other than low mineral water and then some oil or nothing (no oil, if you produce so much sebum)? No moisturizers, creams, no soap, no other kind of facial washes etc? Sorry jog my memory maybe you said already? Poor you. However from your pics I think your zi...
