Oh, meditation is easily misunderstood. Just read a little a bit of the book 'The Power Of Now' (http://www.orgone.ro/doc/The-Power-of-Now.pdf).
Of course, you probably don't have the patience to read it now nor it will make sense for you, but maybe one day, who knows

Re: Chlorinated Pools and Sea Water - Potential harm to our skin
You are really overthinking stuff. Yeah, I know... It is just because I am not using soap. Going to a swimming pool, your will have chlorinated smell. That is my concern. Not to mention that there are many sites saying that chlorinated pools makes your skin get old faster. But now I understand why ...

Re: Novidez's Journey - From non-Wai to Wai
I started doing IF in December and I was dealing with it pretty well. Then, in March, I started the Wai Diet and I began to have more stress related issues. I pretty much started Wai on cold turkey since I was very confident that time. And, in the beginning, I was continuing with that confidence, bu...

"Various factors influence copper absorption. For example, copper absorption is enhanced by ingestion of animal protein, citrate, and phosphate. Copper salts, including copper gluconate, copper acetate, or copper sulfate, are more easily absorbed than copper oxides.[24][25] Elevated levels of dieta...

Re: Sodium Deficiency
I dont think it is sensible to do such an experiment. You may compare it to the insulin system; you dont want to imbalance it. What do you mean with this btw? Do you mean that I can't eat salt anymore? Or that I learned my body has some issues adjusting the absorption and excretion rate so it is be...

Re: "Meditation" debate
Exactly. Meditation is a good tool to understand what awareness is. Once you get it, you will see that you lose your awareness (compulsive thinking about things that doesn't matter at that moment, for example) many times. But I may experience this more than you, because I have serious problems on co...

Re: "Meditation" debate
not sure why would anyone want to waste any more time trying to shutdown their brain while awake. It depends: if your mind is making you sad, even if you think about something happy, it will only last for a few seconds; or vice versa. But in the end, those are just thoughts making you either happy ...

Re: Fructose - fat, pancreatic cancer, insulin
You can test if you have a fatty liver, if you want to be sure. I didn't say I had fatty liver and I think I don't have. But that may be one of the major concerns when people talk about fructose. This is quite informative: http://blog.cholesterol-and-health.com/2010/11/sweet-truth-about-liver-and-e...

Re: Fructose - fat, pancreatic cancer, insulin
I just wonder how can I know if my liver glycogen depots are full or not... And that's the main issue, right? It starts to transform on triglycerides and then fatty-liver disease can occur. Now, is this the only issue...? And again, here we are reading things on the Internet and believing that they ...

Re: calcium in oranges and fiber
I think there are valid points against sugar and fructose if you are on a really unhealthy diet and nutritional deficient diet, fructose can be harsh for the liver. Maybe sometimes like in the case of panacea where you have real addictions, using a low sugar and fat rich diet can be also beneficial...
