Ground beef ?
If the meat is not irradiated and freshly ground, is-it OK on Wai ?

If it is done properly, sure.fred wrote:If the meat is not irradiated and freshly ground, is-it OK on Wai ?
So, you need to grind it yourself, or need to be sure of the source and the process.
You need to be sure that no intestinal tissue is (or has been) involved (regarding parasites).

The meat is ground by the butcher in front of me. He only uses muscle meat.RRM wrote:If it is done properly, sure.fred wrote:If the meat is not irradiated and freshly ground, is-it OK on Wai ?

Perfect.
Lets just hope that the grinder is properly cleaned.

Re: Ground beef ?
I eat ground beef all the time. I have a hand-powered grinder and use only organic beef. It tastes heavenly with avocado, olive oil or a raw egg youlk. Or just plain. Mmmm...
Re: Ground beef ?
Well, it is the job of the butcher to clean it, and I have never had any trouble with ground beef (contrary to fish...).RRM wrote:Perfect.

Steak tartare (ground beef+egg yolk) is almost a staple here in France!
Re: Ground beef ?

Do they originate dirty protein?

Re: Ground beef ?
I think that one is more like a blender, no?
I think it rotates too fast.
There are grinders that you can use by hand (slow enough).
