The wai diet tends to emphasize a diet primarily of fruits and their juices, supplemented with a good amount of yolks, fish, and/or raw meat.
If one got all of their sugar needs from refined table sugar
Drank plenty of water (wouldn't need much on an all raw diet anyway unless you sweat a lot)
And ate a lot of yolks, fish, and/or raw meat, would you need fruits at all, and if so, how much?
How little fruit is needed to thrive?

Re: How little fruit is needed to thrive?
Suppose you would eat 770 grams of salmon, 10 egg yolks, and 200 grams of sugar (about 3000 kcal),
you would only need one glass of OJ (200 ml) and 2 bananas for vitamin C and magnesium.
And you will need basically the same for when eating some other animal food combination.
So, regarding nutrients, its easy enough.
But as this is about "thriving", high protein intakes may have some of an adverse impact as well.
Personally, i feel that when i eat a lot of animal food, i 'dont feel well'.
Not nauseous or something, but just a bit sluggish and stuffed.
Eating more than a few hundred grams of animal food, it becomes increasingly difficult to eat more.
More than 600 grams makes me feel uncomfortable.
Maybe that would pass once adapted to the different nutrient make up, though.
