Yes you can eat white sugar, for instance by adding it to fruit juice.

Key is to not consume large amounts at once, so your blood sugar level won't rise too much but instead remains stable. A simple and effective way of doing so is indeed, like Oscar said, adding it to juice. Eating it together with fruit can also work, but I think it's harder to manage you blood sugar level that way.
