Its the sugar (sucrose, glucose, fructose) source for honey,Kookaburra wrote:Can we eat nectar?
but it also contains various chemicals,
including all kind of substances (including aromas and neurotoxins) to attract and deter insects, birds etc.
So, no, instead you better consume the purified end result produced by the bees: honey.
Honey is my new love
There is an online raw food shop that sells raw honey by the half kilo, 500g, both solid and running honey.

Raw Honey
So I couldn't find an answer: is raw honey fine on this diet? I have some unpasteurized raw honey and it would be nice to be able to use it for variety on this diet. Could it cause acne in any way?
Re: Raw Honey
If you're allergic to honey perhaps. Can't you just eat sugar? It's cheaper ;)
Anyway it's probably fine but not more than a teaspoon at a time.

Re: Raw Honey
Why no more than a teaspoon? If eating as much granulated sugar I want is alright, than why no honey? It's hard to be a creative chef on this diet...
Re: Raw Honey
Eating all the granulated sugar you want at once is not alright..
Because remember other threads? Blood sugar and insulin and IGF-1 and other hormones.

You can eat more than a teaspoon of raw honey, but not at once.
Same as with fruits.
Personally I prefer raw honey above sugar.
I know have wild honey from zambia. Delicious !
