Juicing and sugar....
I have recently started adding sugar and oil to my fruit juice and I have a few questions regarding this.I did read about sugar providing sufficient energy but still somewhat scared to use it(cooked refined product), do I use the ordinary store-bought sugar ? We don't have organic sugar here however organic jaggery is available, can I use jaggery in place of sugar? Are there any alternatives to oil ? What would happen if I dont add sufficient oil, say a tablespoon less oil, will that cause any problem ?
Re: Juicing and sugar....
rrm said oils best n just use plain white sugar
Re: Juicing and sugar....
Why are you afraid of normal sugar? Its sucrose, which is fructose + glucose. All these are perfectly natural molecules, also present in fruits.
What is jaggery?

Re: Juicing and sugar....
Dont normal sugars contain added chemicals in them ? Jaggery is a form of sugar with minimal amount of chemical processing. It's also called raw sugar.

What kind of chemicals? (sugar itself is a preservative)
I guess jaggery may contain protein residues...
