Is honey a good OJ substitute?

What oil? Which vinegar? What about sugar?

It might be because you diluted the honey with water(the OJ is mostly water). If you would eat a couple of spoons of sirup you would feel nauseous too, right? But when you put it on your pancakes your stomach can handle it. Both sirup and honey are almost pure sugar so it might be a bit to harsh on your stomach!

That's what I think :) Good luck!

Indeed; the level of concentration requires very active digestive juices.

I always stir a few tablespoons of honey in a cup of water, if I'm not in a rush I will heat the water up a little bit. Goes down much smoother. Don't get that 'choking' feeling.
