Does it mean that theoretically we dont need to consume animal products?

No. Not just because we also need B12 and cholesterol, but also because there are different omega 3 fats, and our capacity to make the other ones from LNA is limited, and only animal food supplies us with all of the omega 3'sDucky wrote:Walnuts 1 oz. (25g) = 2.6g
