Itching
I just started this diet thurday 3-24-2011. The first day was ok but yesterday and today I am itching like mad. Is this a reaction from stopping other foods cold turkey? I took a beondril pill and it didn't help much. If this is normal how long does the itching last. Also I am craving milk and ice cream.
Re: Itching
When I first started this diet full on I think I recall itching more than usual at first... I don't remember how long it lasted, so it must have passed quickly enough.

Re: Itching
For itching try some oil on your skin, coconut, cold pressed sesame (otherwise you will smell like wok), walnut oil or another recommended 'wai' oil.. itching is often cuz dry.. if there is some special reason I dunno.. only thing I notice is: even if I eat so much protein I can before I start to break out it makes my skin drier (I guess cuz of some water retention?), when I eat close to the very lowest limit on the strict diet is my skin at its best, soft, supple and moist. But as soon as I eat a bit more proteins... I get very very dry hands.
Oil will get you through the first days and then if it prevails you will need some trouble shooting perhaps.
Or just wait for some of the experienced Waiers they might have a good advice.

Thanks

sesame oil is not allowed and certainly not recommended on this dietabicahsoul wrote: try some oil on your skin, coconut, cold pressed sesame (otherwise you will smell like wok), walnut oil or another recommended 'wai' oil.
