Starting out how many EGGS?
Hello all,
Im new to all this and have been reading a lot of the posts here I have a few questions:
I have had bouts of extreme tiredness for years after contracting galandular fever at a younger age 21 now 30 Its been 9 years and after much research the raw egg yolks could be a solution combined with diet and exercise.
Also I take vitamin D tablets as in the UK there is little Sun and office work means I dont get out much it has also been a good source of health and I recomend Vitamin D to anyone must be in its D3 form cholecalciferol. I had the begining of gum disease a few years back. Dentist 4 times a month antibiotics trying to work out what it was; did some research and took vitamin D3 was gone the next day. Great stuff and now take it daily with Cod liver oil, never had a problem since.
My Questions:
How many raw yolks can I eat a day I have a strong constitution so can handle a lot of things in my diet.
Currently I am on 9; 3 morning 3 lunch and 3 evening before bed. Today being my first day and I can already feel the effects much more alert . They are free range eggs from the local store all very fresh and highest quality.
My questions are:
Can I eat more??? . (my stats:Male 30 5"9 average weight) - Id like to really get the most of out taking these so would love to see how many I can actually eat a day without suffering side effects if any? - Can anyone tell me how many they are taking 3 seems about the average but iv read some people eat up to as much as 20?
I think 9 so far is a good number spread out but am I doing the right thing?
Also roll mops are a form of raw herring can this be classed as my raw fish to eat? - how many can i eat of these a day?
I have also seen people on the forum saying they drink "OO" what is OO?

Re: Starting out how many EGGS?
Hi Paul, welcome.
lots of vitamins, protein etc.
Start with just one teaspoon a day, for 3 days.
Double this every 3 days.
Eventually, you may have as many yolks as you desire.
A dozen a day may have wonderful effects.
Thats great!
(no careful start, but a kick ass start)
as a medicine, to gain power quickly.
Excess good cholesterol is readily converted into bile acids, used for fat digestion,
and discarded.
See what suits you best.
(unless you have acne; then there is too much salt in it)
you dont need any, at all.
Yes, all that good cholesterol is a wonderful precursor, and it contains vitamin D as well.paul2978 wrote:Hello all,

Its much healthier to take raw fish instead, which contain vitamin D, but also omega 3 fatsAlso I take vitamin D tablets as in the UK there is little Sun

You mean hospitals actually give raw egg yolks to sick people? I find that hard to believe. When I was hospitalised in 2005, the nurse provided me with a cup of Milo and some sandwich or something for breakfast.RRM wrote:Yes, in many countries there are given to sick people,paul2978 wrote:Today being my first day and I can already feel the effects much more alert .

Do you have any supporting links?

Re: Starting out how many EGGS?
Websites that support your statement that raw egg yolks are given to sick people in many countries.
Re: Starting out how many EGGS?
That info comes from people who come from those countries.
Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Guatemala (and an other Latin American country)
When people notice my diet, usually a short talk about the diet follows,
and then people from the above countries mentioned the egg yolk thing in their country of origin.

Re: Starting out how many EGGS?
Hearsay doesn't mean it's true.
Re: Starting out how many EGGS?
You're right, the only way you will absolutely know is to visit and consult with thousands of people from ghana, togo, ivory coast, mexico, guatemala, and other latin american countries since hearsay, websites supporting his statement, and even scientific journals can all be flawed in some way.
Or you could save the effort, and make an intelligent guess as to if it's true or not, based on motives and what you have learned in your past for things that people lie about and what they don't...

Are you saying we shouldn't believe anything you're saying?Kookaburra wrote:Hearsay doesn't mean it's true.
Re: Starting out how many EGGS?
I learned today, from a Moroccan friend, that giving raw egg yolks to children is an ancient arabic tradition.
He told me that with the invasion of the Arabs into Spain, this tradition was spread,
and that the spaniards spread this habit to Latin America.
He also said that the Arabs also spread this habit over Africa.
(The African countries mentioned indeed have significant muslim populations).
But then again, this is all hearsay.
