Anyone here have problems with low blood pressure?
I'm not sure when I started having low blood pressure, I know that before going raw my blood pressure was around 120/80.
Yesterday I measured, it was 94/52. Now it's again 92/52 (in the morning it was 100/71 though). Heart rate 50.

Re: Low blood pressure
I have no problems doing exercise though, like biking, high-intensity workouts in the gym, etc. I noticed I even perform better than I used to.
It could be that these values are normal for me, and the 120/80 on cooked diet were actually abnormal, caused by the diet.. who knows.
Just interested whether other wai dieters have noticed similar lowering of blood pressure.

That seems most logical to me, indeed.dime wrote:It could be that these values are normal for me, and the 120/80 on cooked diet were actually abnormal, caused by the diet.. who knows.

I will get me a blood-pressure meter.
Re: Low blood pressure
I just bought one.
Right now, its 132/70, which is perfectly 'normal'.
Tomorrow morning i will check again.
Oscar, in case you want to do this too: they are only 10 and 15 euro at Blokker.

Re: Low blood pressure
I think it's best to measure these kind of things when you just wake up in the morning. At any other time it won't be very consistent, there are just too many factors affecting these variables.
Which got me thinking to start measuring like once a week in the morning, it would be good to track blood pressure, heart rate, basal body temperature, blood glucose, weight, (anything else?).
This way you can act on time when they change considerably.

Re: Low blood pressure
What tool do you use for blood glucose?
Re: Low blood pressure

Re: Low blood pressure
Last time I checked (a year ago?) it was 105-110/65-70 heart rate ±60, so on the lowish side.
Re: Low blood pressure
Interesting.
Ok, here's mine in the morning: 113/62, heartrate 46.
