No it doesn't help width high frequencies.
Therefore it has no impact on WIFI, DECT phone, mobile phone network and other things at 2.4GHz.

If you measure your body voltage (which it is very easy to do by the way), you get a very indication about the electromagnetic radiation you are exposed too (especially the low frequencies)
I measured it when recharching my ipod in a non-earthed socket (or width a non-earthing power plug), my body voltage gets about 50-70 volt!
For reference standing barefoot on grass it is 0 V, standing in a house it is normally around 0,3V-3V.

How do you measure the body voltage?
