electric shavers

I've been reading about electric shavers. I've read that if you don't shave often a foil type is better (less pulling of hair) and for regular shavers a rotary works better.

I don't shave often. I usually wait till it is grown out a bit. I mean, I don't shave infrequently because my hair doesn't grow fast, but because I hate shaving.

Anyone ou there have experience with foil and rotary that can confirm less pulling with foils?

Also, any recommendations on a good shaver?

I only trim my beard, because my skin reacts badly to shaving (irritation).

I'd be cook with that, but after a week of growth my beard causes my face to always itch...

I only have experience with foil shavers, which seem to work fine for me. I shave once every few days.

MINT! RRM has a beard! hehe, I tried to grow a beard in thailand but its too itchy!

I shave every 3-4 days (my hair grows alarming) with hair clippers on its lowest settings. I find this takes enough hair while leaving the skin less agitated and its dry shaving which is a win win for my acne.

yes occasionally, i try again, but then my whole neck is red-patchy and itches...

I joke because im thinking of growing a meaty beard...like they guy out of 300! rarr. lol. My girl wont like the itching tho!

I use a beard trimmer when I shave to avoid the irritation of a manual razer, however, this leaves me with a lot of loose hairs on my face. I showered them off, but this dried my face out. Is there any way to easily get them off without irritation?

Not if you use low-mineral water.

Life can be tough :D
But again, doesn't your face get dry when you regularly shower (I suppose you shower from time to time)? What do you do then?

You can put it in a plant spray and use it when you need it.
