i heard that it can accelerate aging by making cells shed faster but why would that hurt the skin.it also protects the cells from damage caused by free radicals. any info or articles posted would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Well I have hurd alot of good and bad about vitiman E on face and if it realy does age your face faster then I personally would only use it in very small small amounts.

Pluse the there are so many other things that can protect your face from free racials.

Fat.
Fat on your skin protects your skin, including against free radicals that get on the skin.
Free radical inside your body are counteracted by your body. Its your body that knows exactly how much anti-oxidants it needs, and where. Taking extra vitamin E will not improve that balance. Just supply your body with everything it needs, in moderation (through diet), and protect your skin by the use of fat.

I never saw vitamin E cause me to break out more.

At the moment I use mostly the "Decleor" products
that are 100% natural. The Aromaessence series.

The added vitamin E issue isn't about causing more acne, but causing accelerated skin cell turnover, which accelerates skin aging.

K so vitiman E accelerates skin aging proccess so does that mean that vitiman E can cause enlarged pores because it causes the skin to thicken around the pore making it larger and scares more visible?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure.

I dont think so either. But it is very possible that a cream that contains vitamin E can cause this effect because of the 'hydrating' molecules it also contains.
