Can tanning cause acne?

Can slow-tanning cause acne (if you don't burn)? Even if you're on a strict sample diet?

If you dont get burned, and the tanning is slow indeed, no it cannot cause acne.

I bump this old thread to ask: When tanning (under the sun), do we need to wear glasses? Or just closing the eyes is ok?

I'm not sure they need them. Maybe liability or accidents?
