I have been reading a lot about how a parasite can cause acne. In fact, this website claims that 90% of adolescent acne is caused by parasites in the face. Many people claim that after using the products from the site below, they would actually see the parasites clinging to their hair follicles as they shaved. Other people said they felt tingling sensations as the parasites left their face. However, most of the people that have tried this product said it took them about 8 weeks before they saw improvement (in most cases the acne/redness got worse until the 8 weeks).
Here's the website: http://demodexsolutions.com
Here's the testimonials: http://www.demodexsolutions.com/phpbb2/ ... um.php?f=9
Now here's my question, wouldn't consuming raw foods increase your intake of parasitic life forms?

Re: Parasites cause acne?
Those mites are everywhere, you can never hope to avoid them. There are tens of thousands of them on you right now.falcon wrote:I have been reading a lot about how a parasite can cause acne. And no, consuming raw food has nothing to do with it. Mites are arachnids, like spiders. They crawl all over living things and they all have their nitch.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Non-human cells far outnumber human cells in your body right now. There are millions of bacteria, viruses, worms, mites, and other simple life forms living in and on your body this very minute. There is nothing you can do about it.
and no, they do not cause acne.
The propioni bacteria in sebum canals get overactivated (resulting in 'pus-production') when the sebum has been trapped in those canals and when the water-pressure all around is too great. Its the pressure that causes the sebum canals to get pinched off and its the pressure that causes the inflammation.
