In human blood, uric acid concentrations between 3.6 mg/dL and 8.3 mg/dL are considered normal by the American Medical Association http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uric_acidDarkGalaxy wrote:6.5 mg/dlHow high?
As vegetarians have to convert fewer purines into uric acid, that conversion capacity is accordingly; relatively small, but will eventually adapt to a regular greater intake of purines once you have incorporated fish/yolks into your daily diet.
It will be interesting to see what your uric acid levels are in 6 to 12 months from now.
