The Wai RDA
Everything I read on this site about RDA's says that a lot of the values are off (typically too high). I was wondering if anyone had thought of or come up with an RDA that fits with the beliefs in this diet. I think it would be rather helpful.
Re: The Wai RDA
Ouch, that's very difficult, if not impossible...
What an individual needs on a daily basis depends on several factors, which can even change per day. The RDA in the nutrient calculator is based upon a certain age group, and a certain height and weight. How much of a specific nutrient an individual needs on any given day cannot be predicted. So I guess the current RDAs will have to do (except for calcium of course), if only for a general guideline.

I think I remember someone saying try to keep 50% of the RDA as a minimum. I'm not sure though and I don't want to misquote.
