Low protein diets have been shown to be effective against cancer.
Intermittent fasting might be more so.

For you, you mean?
Not for me, in general.
Why do you think 50 to 150 g carbs / day is optimal?

Check out this thread about ketogenic metabolism:

You may contribute to that discussion.
Keep in mind it was before we found out about autophagy.

is autophagy a new science? if not, curious as to why it was only discovered recently by you.

Autophagy is not a science, but a biologic process.
Since 1962 some scientists knew that this process occurs.
Since about 2010, it is known that inhibiting autophagy increases the exposure of cells to metabolic stress (cell damage).
Since then, a huge wave of studies have been conducted, yielding incredible interesting information.
why it was only discovered recently by you.
Actually, it was Dime who brought it up, in 2011.

Only in 2013, I thought of the full potential regarding health and longevity.

Why I didn't think of that before?
I simply knew too little about it; I hadn't researched it properly.

i did blood test and I found out that my ferritin levels are low, 38 ng/ml (normal levels : ~100-150 ng/ml) it means I do not have much iron stored in my body.
Probably anemia was the reason of many health problems: hair shedding ( the single most common reason for losing hair is a ferritin level below 70), fatigue, dizziness, dry skin, low blood pressure... Now I take iron supplements, l-lysine, vitamin C .

I think it is difficult to get enough iron on raw food diet, unless you have to eat a lot of meat or liver

Let us know how it goes with the supplements, if your hair problem and other problems disappear.
Of course you can always increase to eat more meat and fish though, they have plenty of iron.
Good luck!

An organic iron supplement of at least 60-80mg/day is required for iron stores to be repleted in a lasting way

Normal levels for females are actually 18–160 ng/mL.

So, its not that bad.

Hmmm, not a trustworthy source, in my opinion.
Free iron is toxic to cells (hence stored as ferritin), so please take oral supplements moderately.
Large doses of (oral) iron are most often prescribed but associated with side effects and with increased oxidative damage. A moderate iron dosage provides the most benefit to those who require supplemental iron. Beard J
Oral iron is poorly tolerated. Intravenous iron is safe and effective, and these newer formulations (that include erythropoiesis stimulation) allow complete replacement dosing in 15-60 minutes. Muñoz M et al
In pregnant women, about 80% of the intravenous iron group maintained normal ferritin levels Khalafallah AA et al
, whereas ferritin levels did not show a significant increase in the oral iron group. Khalafallah AA et al

I wouldn't say that i feel in perfect health with such way of eating, planning to decrease my fruit amount, because last time, after very high fructose intake (from fruits) my blood test showed highest triglycerides level of all tests that i have done.

Thanks, for your reply.
It is interesting to see how others compare to what i eat.

I don't think I've ever tried coconut cream.
What is coconut cream? Is it the same as coconut oil?
Does it work better than oo when combined with fruits?
Does coconut cream contain more triglycerides than fruits, than oo?
