1. If the bad proteins can't be used by the body, somebody who's eating cooked foods all the time, never eating protein at all after all?
For example a body builder on processed food?
2. If amino acids are the building blocks for our whole body than we should be able to build big muscles only with fruits loaded with amino-acids, shouldnt we?
I know it must be more complex than that, im just trying to find some logic.
Thanks for any inputs.

Re: Thoughts on protein
Only some of the protein gets damaged due to the processing. There is always plenty of intact proteinj left for (re)construction purposes.Ducky wrote:1. If the bad proteins can't be used by the body, somebody who's eating cooked foods all the time, never eating protein at all after all?

Fruits contain too little protein to build big muscles on. If you eat fruits only, including Brazil nuts, you will maximally be able to maintain a relatively low muscle mass. For building muscles you need extra protein, from fish / egg yolks, for example.2. Thank you RRM for the explanation.
So it means that for example a slice of tuna only seared on both sides and still raw inside can be considered as an excellent munch-food?Only some of the protein gets damaged due to the processing. There is always plenty of intact protein left for (re)construction purposes.
Re: Thoughts on protein
No, because an excellent munch food contains little protein. Tuna contains much protein, so that even slightly searing may cause big problems in comparison to other munch foods (when it comes to acne).Ducky wrote:So it means that for example a slice of tuna only seared on both sides and still raw inside can be considered as an excellent munch-food?
