How long will Brazil nuts keep after you have shelled them? I'm flying next week to Toronto and will be out and about seeing the city, so Brazil nuts seem like a convenient option for the plane and during the day. I'd rather shell them beforehand I leave home, though. I'll only be gone for 5 days, they won't spoil in that time, will they?
The best option would be oj and oil, of course, but I can't take liquid on the plane nowadays =( I'm nervous about eating the nuts because of acne, but I really can't think of another way to do it...

Dried fruits (figs, dates, plums, apricots etc) are great for trips like these...The best option would be oj and oil, of course, but I can't take liquid on the plane nowadays =( I'm nervous about eating the nuts because of acne, but I really can't think of another way to do it...
