Raw 'peanut' butter

So im on this rawguru.com website and they were selling raw peanut butter....is this really raw? here's the link to it....

1. peanuts are not nuts. and brazil nuts are recommended because they are least likely to cause acne as well as have the highest nutritional value. Though even brazil nuts can cause break outs for people.
2. peanuts are toxic unless heated, so it is likely that by raw they mean the additives are toned down.

I just wanted to let you know about this site. They talk about raw peanut butter and sell raw peanuts that you could use to make it. I used to love peanut butter. It was a staple in my diet for years. I'd have peanut butter on apple slices.

Even if raw peanuts where healthy, they still don't taste the same. I think raw peanut butter would be gross even thou roasted peanut butter is one of my favorite foods.

Yes, the roasting is essential to destroy most of the toxins naturally present in peanuts. Since toxins taste bitter, roasted peanuts taste much better than raw peanuts.
