Fiber is the package and the structure. Without the fiber, the fruit cannot grow, because then there is no frame. Much like the bones in our body.

I heard it "contains the enzymes that will be use fro the digestion of the fruit"

Is that true?

As far as I know, (plant) fiber mostly consists of cellulose and lignin, undigestible by humans.

And to digest the digestable parts of the fruit, your body produces the enzymes it needs for that. Digestive enzymes are not taken from our food, but produced inside the body.

Fruit fiber

So fiber can damage the intestines by causing small wounds. Is this true of the fiber in fruit, or is fruit fiber merely superfluous?
I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you, thank you. Sam I am.

There are all kinds of different fiber.
Some are extremely hard to digest and very tough (or even have pharmaceutic properties)
, whereas others may get softened up in the intestines quite a bit.
As you can imagine, eating a small branch from a tree will have a different effect on your bowels than eating a banana.
And yes, the fiber in fruits is relatively 'friendly'.
How much fiber your body can perfectly cope with depends on the kind of fiber and your lifetime intake.

The Fruit can not grow without the fiber. likes the bones our body. In all fruit are different type of fiber available. Banana have more fiber rather than other fruit. Food is nice and sweet. Also it keep body feet and healthy.

I got the impression he was Indian, because of the ayurvedic reference in another post.

What he was saying was that fiber in fruit is the structure of the fruit giving it shape, like bones in our body (but it's kind of common sense). Then he said there's different types of fiber and some fruits have more fiber than others (again, painfully obvious). Then he said that 'food is nice and sweet', here he means fruit, since not all food is sweet. 'also it keeps the body fit and healthy' referring to fruit (obvious to us, preaching to the choir).
