Effect of cooked starches on skin?

Post by nini »

Wai emphasises the detrimental effect of cooked protein, a completely new concept to me. What about cooked starches? Do you know anything about their effect on aging skin?

Starchy foods are high-protein foods (grains, beans), so that the effect is the same, though caused by the dirty protein.

Commercial starches are never just that, and do contain protein residues; thus dirty protein.

What about potatoes and squashes? You can take quite a lot as a munch food, but then you will also get a lot of starch. Does that not affect the skin?

First you need to clear your skin by doing the sample diet. Once your skin is totally clear you can start experimenting. You will then find out that high protein munchfoods will more readily make you break out than low-protein munch foods, regardless of starch contents.
