Dehydrating Chicken Fillets

Post by dionysus »

Thinking about doing this due to the cheapness of chicken fillets; £0.32 per 100g for chicken compared to £1.00 per 100g for fish.

Has anyone tried this before? Success/failure?

I do understand that the chicken will be bland, but this is not a concern.

I have eaten quite a bit of raw chicken, and this tastes fine t me. Iimagine dried will be just as tasty, if not even better.

Just make sure to slice it quite thin, so it gets fully dehydrated and does not start to rot ;)

Havent tried it either, but yes, it will taste more salty; less bland, as its more 'concentrated'
