Banana Nut Crumble

Post by Lyn »

My daughter came up with this little recipe 8)

1 banana
crushed walnuts
raw honey
beautiful plate

1 banana on a plate...drizzle with raw honey...crush walnuts with a rolling pin or a cup...cover the banana with the walnuts....I also add berries if I have them...savor each bite!

One thing that helps me to stay on this diet is taking the time to make my food look appetizing...it somehow makes it taste better........ plate presentation, even for just little old you, because you're worth it!

I love the name!

But I just can't eat honey. Rather, for some reason, I never liked it. Maybe I could mix some 'sugar' into yolk instead and top with the crushed walnuts???

Can coconut oil be whipped by hand to make it thicker? as a topping?

You can get raw coconut butter... It has to be warmed a bit first (it solidifes at less than 70 degrees or so), but it would probably work great for this purpose.

Thanx Ben. I was thinking that coconut oil and butter were the same. Good to know.
