Spots: New spots. 3-4 four smaller ones. One is red. Not as big as previous.
Going to spot doing excercise. Increases testostorone.
5th July
Up until this point (27th June - 5th July) Face has gradually been getting better. Yesterday i had sex. Today I have a few spots. One big red one on my back. One about to emerge on my cheek and some smaller ones. Have to observe the link between sex and spots.
I had also eaten a Sharon Fruit a few days ago. Not sure if this has any affect on skin. Not to cut it out and test it. Contains Tannins.
14th July 2007
Up until to day skin getting a lot better after reducing fish to 50g.

Today:
>Had to move about 50 mins in after eating fish (picked paper up off of floor)
>Did a little bit of heavy lifting after fish as well
>Spent all day gardening (weeding to be exact)

Got a few new spots today. No sure is this is because:
>Of the protein (too much? Too little?).
>Gardening and not enough protein in my body.
>Moving during fish yesterday
>Heavy lifting after protein yesterday.
> Gardening increasing testostorone levels
16th July 2007
Another two new red spots today. Have about 4-6 in total.
Culprits?:
>Moving during fish (2 days ago)
>Heavy lifting after fish (2 days ago)
>10 hours of gardening over the last two days, and not enough protein in body
>10 hours of gardening increases testosterone
>Had sex, increase testosterone
2units of Avocado
Fresh chives
4units of Tomatoes
1units, medium of Cucumber
2000ml (milliliters) of Orange juice
100ml (grams) of Olive oil
50g-100g (grams) of Tuna
17th July
Did a little weeding again. Try to not do too much (about 1.5hours). My legs still hurt from weeding over the last two days.
I now have about 15 spots on my face (6 red ones, rest whiteheads ranging from medium to small in size)
I plan to try and limit my testosterone levels. Therefore:
> No sex
> No weights or exercise
Options for the future:
> Decrease carbs (1L of OJ instead of 2L) and increase fat.
> Find some Liquid Free Amino Acids
18th July
Another new red spot today. Old spots seem to be clearing up. Woke up about about 8am this morning (dog woke me up) and felt hungry. Don’t usually feel hungry but have had this feeling about three times recently. If I understand correctly this maybe ‘hunger belly’ (protein deficiency) so I’ve decided to increase my fish to 100g today. Although the last time I was on 100g fish for a prolong time I got red spots. Think I may need to find somewhere inbetween 100g and 50g.

I started the diet for acne.
I've been on antibiotics on and off for about 10 years. Then they stopped working.
My next step was Accutane which i didn't want to take.
So about 2 years ago i started this diet. Lasted about a year. Lost alot of weight. Energy management was incorrect.
Then i went back on the antibiotics. They lasted about 6 months.
Then i started the Wai diet again and its been pretty easy since then (apart from the acne).

Thanks Avo. Yeah its a bit crappy when you get bashed Avacadoss. I pay a little bit more for the expensive ones which are packaged nicely. Works out cheaper in the longer run.
RRM: Not sure i answered your question. Its pretty hard to tell how severe my acne was without antibiotics because apart from when i was on the Wai diet i have, as far as memory serves me correctly, always been on them. I have acne scars on my shoulders and little on my cheeks.
When i'm on the Wai diet i can get my skin to a point where its nice and smooth. None of this 'water/grease' that sits on the top. But this doesn't seem to last. It seems to be the protein which is the problem, though its hard to tell if is the protein or testostorone (and other hormones) which are causing the problem.

21st July
On the 18th July (wednesday) i increased my fish intake to 100g (from 50g). The next day i started to get that 'smooth' skin look back. And the spots started to heal. (Though i had also stopped doing any physical exercise, i.e gardening, and this has to be taken into consideration)
On thursday and friday i took 100gs of fish again. My skin was feeling really good. Though on friday (if i recall correctly) i recieved some minor whiteheads.
Today (Saturday 21st July) i have a red spot on my back along with some minor whiteheads. Therefore i have reduced my protein. I was unable to measure the amount as i was away all weekend but i believe it was about 60-70gs of fish. I ate the fish while sitting in the car traveling. This may have been a bad move and will have to take this into consideration over the coming days.
My daily diet over the weekend, including friday, was:
2L OJ
150-200ml OO
2 Avacados (+ vinger)
Fish
I don't know if i'm going to be able to find a 'set-point' where i will be able to
(a) Not have too much protein in my body to cause acne
(b) Not have to little protein in my body to cause a deficiency (especially when i do physical work)
If i am unable to find a set-point i may have to yo-yo between 100gs and 50gs through out the week. Eating more protein on the day, and the day before, i do physical work.

I suggest you eat 75 grams daily for the next 2 weeks.
From there on you go 5 grams down or up, for, again, 2 weeks. And so on.
Thats the only way to make sure. (thats how i eventually ended up at 133 grams daily)

So today, 27th July, is the first day.
I have 2 red spots. One on my back, one on my forehead.
Couple of tiny whiteheads.
Should i refrain from exercise and weights while on this experiment? I really want to do weights.

rest of the diet the same as usual
