I will be visiting China for nearly 3 weeks soon. I have heard that consuming raw eggs and fish in China is very precarious. Any suggestions? I have been eating raw eggs on a daily basis for five years and have never gotten sick once. However, it would be preferable to avoid getting horribly sick because the eggs are not fresh or have been affected by the climate.

Hard to say...in any case I'd buy fish whole, so you can easily check how fresh it is.

And if no fish is available but only eggs?

I don't know. You probably have to just try them out and see how it goes. If you've been eating raw eggs for 5 yrs you should be fine, although you might have to get used to the chinese (local) bacteria.
