Fruit Sugar Overdosing

Post by unorthoughdocks »

I read you can eat too much fruit and get too much sugar. Im almost positive been experiencing this especially with bananas. This is difficult to balance on the wai diet since veggies are excluded. Any suggestions?

do you follow with sufficient fat?

I almost always do, and when I don't I always feel a sugar-low.

A sip/proper amount of oil should do the job after you eat some fruit.

Or just drink orange juice with sugar and oil added. Or make a fruit salad and add oil to it...

There is nothing wrong with lots of sugars if:
1) You don't ingest more energy than required on a daily basis
2) You always consume sufficient fat with it
3) You dont eat only a few big meals a day, but instead, lots of small meals.

Of course, the same goes for fruits.

Those 3 rules save my life, however im confused about nut consuming since they will balance sugars but what about the protien digestion rest rule? It would be great to balance with nuts but will that work for physical activity?

Im unsure whether I interpret your post properly.
Nuts are not considered proteinaceous meals such as fish and egg yolks are. So, you can consume them prior to physical activity.
When physical active, though, you need way more extra sugars; the ratio sugar:fat increases, simply because muscles use glucose for energy. This also means that when physical active, you dont need as much fat with your sugars, because they are utilized way faster.
