 heh thanks Gavriel I just read your post... you made my day!
I like my name, too (thanks mum & dad!)

RRM, thank you/Wai for asking, I am doing good, eating lots of raw tuna and salmon almost daily, it's quite expensive here but it's really worth it, I feel much better now (used to eat just yolks)
I have unfortunately gained some weight because I was eating garbage for a while and drinking beer but I'm getting better

wOW I found Wai's site in 2001....it's been almost 5 years!!!
looong time eh?

You may :)
Blackpool - I was born in West London but when I was a toddler my mum decided she wanted me to grow up with my Grandparents, and they lived in Blackpool and wouldn't move, so we had to move there. They were from Manchester, but they retired to Blackpool, because they wanted to be near the sea etc. My parents hated it here, and so did I at first, but my Grandparents wouldn't leave. I quite like it now.

Ah, I've never been to Blackpool. I attended Bradford University, so was often in Leeds and other parts of Yorkshire (the Dales are beautiful, and were great fun to drive around in my old Morris...), over to Scarborough.

By the way, as a fellow Brit, did you happen to watch the Dispatches two-part special on the modern Supermarket-led food industry? I believe it was originally shown at the end of last year. I occassionally download UK TV programmes to remain up-to-date, and this one was rather interesting.

The chicken farm was shocking - and the chap was being praised as being an 'ethical farmer'!?

Cheers,

Hello! I grew up on a pig farm in Kansas, but now I live in Los Angeles, California, USA. Yes, corporate farming sucks. :(

NYC, baby! Represent!

Um, we have good sushi.
Unfortunately, it's looks strange to carry a crate of oranges on the subway. So I go grocery shopping EVERY DAY.
