Re: Emeira's Diary
I would eat one bite and poke around on the rest. If it's not a sit down meal, I would maybe toss it in the trash when nobody i looking. But if somebody is annoying me, pushing me, I would punch them in the face no cannot do that. But I'm no pushover. The problem is your history. Just take it and don't eat much or say you are just not hungry. If they know your eating history, they won't leave you alone. Sorry, but you will have to be strong and let them worry. Take care of yourself and don't share why you are not eating it. Just say you are not hungry. Repeat that til they give up. don't let them get to you. it otherwise raises suspicion. Bring a bowl of fruit to the party. They need to see you eat
Re: Emeira's Diary
I agree with Christina here, and would also add that if you know in advance that there will be food like cake at the party and everyone will be eating you can bring some wai food dish with you that is enough for everyone. This way you can all still eat the same food together.
And even if you happened to break the rules one day, don't punish yourself or be depressed over it. Just forget about it and instead concentrate on immediately go back to eating wai. You can not change the past, but you can always make a better future!

I'd just eat a bit and then go on with my life. Similarly when I'm out to a party, especially now that I decided to be strict :D I'll just get one beer and barely drink 1/4 of it the whole night. Nobody will notice that it's the same beer, or one bite.. but they notice if you don't drink at all or not eat and then get all annoying about it. I'd never bother to explain, so it's kinda best to make a tiny compromise :)

My mother-in-law said that her husband found out he had diabetes, but the dumbest thing was when despite of that information, they still were eating a lot of candies and cooked food during the evening
I decided to be strict too and now I want loose redundant fat, eliminate water retention and to create a bit extra muscle volume.dime wrote: especially now that I decided to be strict
Re: Emeira's Diary
I would keep refusing (politely), and explain why not if asked.
Re: Emeira's Diary
I always eat Norwegian farmed salmon, and only the fattest parts of salmon (because of omega-3) and it is much cheaper. I can't afford to buy organic fish. No i have found this article:
"Russia Says ‘Nyet’ to Norwegian Farmed Salmon" http://salmonfarmingkills.com/blog/russ ... med-salmon
How much damage have i done to my body?
Can I change salmon to mackerel?

What specifically are you referring to?Emeira wrote:How much damage have i done to my body?
The 'salmonella and other coliform bacteria', or 'microbe pollution'?
Sure, its an excellent omega 3 source. Can I change salmon to mackerel?
Re: Emeira's Diary
From Acne sample diet
Does everyone on this forum eats only organic salmon and egg yolks?
...damaged cholesterol, trans-fatty acids and of course salmonella and other bacteria.Unfortunately, fish can be fed growth hormones orally. [147] And of course they are. Fish from hatcheries can contain residues of drugs 'preventing diseases' up to six months afterwards. [148] The difference in size between natural salmon and salmon from hatcheries is striking. 'Genetic modifications' have created artificial 'super-salmon'.
You can easily see that feeding these fish recycled foods (or even processed fish) would contaminate their flesh with damaged cholesterol and trans-fatty acids.
The long-term effects of eating these salmon is still unknown, but producing fish this intensively will eventually create diseases as already have occurred in cattle. ('Psycho Salmon Disease'?)

Re: Emeira's Diary
Unfortunately, even raw meat (and raw fish) can contain trans-fatty acids, because very often cattle (and fish) are fed processed foods. And part of these processed foods even contains animal residues, like dead cattle. Imagine: herbivores forced to be cannibals. 'Recycling' animal food like this causes disorder like 'mad cow's disease'.
i thought that only cooked meat/fat is bad; the ones in prepared food.Raw Brazil nuts, avocado, and salmon (that has only consumed its natural food) only contain healthy fatty acids
Unfortunately, raw meats are dangerous too
Re: Emeira's Diary
Of course, its better to consume organic fish and meats, and fruits.
It just about how much organic foods you can afford.
At least raw meats do not contain HCAs, nitrosamines and oxysterols in addition to what all meat contains.
