Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
Summary "Two months in"
About ~2 months on 61.6-89% Wai [Calculated as: 45/73 % to 73-8/73 %]
Weight: 45kg Oct 3 (stable same as Aug and Sept)| On acclimatize time period I lost an inch in waist from April to July
Counter:
73 days since switching diets on July 23, 2014:
45 days that I deemed Wai;
8 days that I deemed rule breaking; rebellious aytundra purposely added something, or science article reading aytundra deems it;
20 days that were unnamed, I broke rules most likely, or I was undecided hence unnamed, or I broke rules too much to even bother giving it a name; or it was an unavoidable social setting.
Transportation:
I shop with 2-4 trips/ week. I stock: 35 tomatoes, 70 oranges, 3 cartons of 12 dozen eggs, and 3 fillets of fresh fish which I divide and freeze (fish lasts 2 weeks); this has been do-able only with a car. When I run out of food items usually oranges, that is when I get close to breaking rules and eating junk.
Money:
Costs about the price of 32-40 eggs/ day
Time:
Daily prepare, eat, and clean-up time = 1.5 - 3 hours.
Quickest meal = 10 min of fish oj yolks sugar water
Quickest snacks = sliced orange, spoonfuls of avocado, sugar water, sugar oil, nuts, raisins
Family:
Fortunately, in the past month they got accustomed to the fact that I eat a lot of fruits, so they stocked more fruits now.
Though buying more fruit does not change the fact that they are a bit skeptical and concerned of what I am doing.
"Eat some veggies?" 'no',
"Have a drink of this." 'can't',
"Try this new dessert chocolate bar, just one bite?", [resist not; takes a bite, adds it onto diary]
"you don't eat the skin and seeds of tomatoes" 'you remove grape skin seeds, why not tomato seeds?'
"you know you can't believe everything that you read on the internet." 'of course not.'
Plus some other Others:
Well, talking to a vegetarian friend, they were interested. I described it as a no junk foods diet. They were more curious on what is defined as junk and what is off limits.
Nutrients:
Probably getting more fresh water soluble vitamins.
It is not like I am doing this diet haphazardly with little thought on what nutrients I put in.
On the chess board, rebellious aytundra knows the main nutrient contents of her proper foods, and garbage foods;
In nutritional aytundra's perspective analyzing rule breaking items gives her hints on what additional nutrients might be needed.
Day Energy:
Good after waking; Good concentration after eating;
If I eat enough in the morning, energy and concentration are solid for at least 5 hours.
But when calories are low "beware junk foods".
----------
Aside:
Agrees too, this diet works for constipation.
Constipation = None for the past 2 months.
Actually in the acclimatize months, I had already noticed that adding several fruits were reducing constipation, on the other hand, I was also decreasing wheat and dairy items during that time period, so both adding fruits and subtracting junk might have helped.
History: I have always had constipation for as long as I can remember (before 3 years old); usually occurred after eating lots of pasta. After around ~13 years old, I managed* the constipation. Common advice was to: drink more water or juice, eat more veggies or fibers like prunes. {I grew up on milk, bread, cheese, rice, meat and junk food} So a long time ago in elementary school, I remember my parents adding more water bottles, and reluctantly allowed juice boxes when I refused water and kept on bringing back full water bottles home {I did not like the plastic smell that flavored the water [They had no knowledge about BPA plastic back then]} As a result: A) I hated water, B) I hated veggies, C) I hated prunes; I dumped water bottles down the drain, and drank juice boxes that probably gave me cavities.
Of course none of the advice was bad, water does work, veggies and fibers counter constipation created by the wheat, and dairy and meat:
(but these management techniques are not necessary if I eat "proper" foods. ["proper" defined by current standards of aytundra, and backed by proper reading and interpretation of sound articles.])
*When I was desperate: I ate whole grain bread with seeds, kiwi, golden kiwi, dragon fruit, sesame and seed like items and those worked so-so for solving the constipation; veggies sometimes worked, but cooked watercress fiber actually worked the best. (but all these are not necessary now.)
Well thanks to this bizarre Wai diet, I've figured it out now: I don't need water, I don't need veggies. I don't need grains. I don't need dairy. I don't need seeds, and finally agrees I don't need fiber.
---
But I am not here for constipation purposes; that is a happy side effect, a side story of eating this way.
Still here for molecular theoretical reasons. Not really here for pimples or skin problems, but less pimples are also a happy side effect; I just note them for vain readers (snowwhite aytundra included).

I like the statistics too.
It shows, my perceived perspective is different from the actual.
I was saying (really guessing), I was doing 90-95% Wai in my posts around the forum a few weeks back, well the stats shows otherwise: actual = 61.6%
On the other hand, if I counted days that I broke my article reading conscience, and fell into temptation, eating not Wai items, then that gave me 89%.
But that is sloppy stats. What 89% really means is the 11% was occupied by Crave aytundra and the food choices were based on craves;
Of the 11%, if you look closely at the foods I ate that broke the rules, and analyzed the nutrients, it will compliment what I was missing from my normal average Wai items. French fries and chicken does not surprise me, I was messing with my regular sugar intake of 12 tbsp for the past few days prior to that day (previously, I had a stable intake of sugar in oj mixtures; after reading around on sugar, I was a bit confused on my position on sugar, and decided to test/mess with it.), craving chicken could be for niacin. Originally, I planned peaches (for niacin) to go with my 4 tomatoes to 8 oranges ratio.
Somewhere between 61.6% to 89% are varying degrees of not-Wai eating, some had more terrible food items than what crave aytundra did, social occasions can do that. The reason why I can't list most social occasions on the not-Wai-items-counter is that those unnamed days were less about listening to what junk foods I want, but eating junk in general.
The days on 61.6% use items strictly based on eating Wai calculator items,
exceptions are: egg whites, dextrose, [potato starch will be added in]; and for methods "warming"of fish,
[Exceptions are based on the fuzzy ideas listed around the forum.]

October 4, 2014 (8.1.46) = Version 8 avocado and potato starch + previous versions.
- waking from Oct 3, no pimples, tired-ish sleep {maybe b/c of avocado?}
8:00 1 avocado
17:00 800ml oj = 8 oranges
20:30 4 tomatoes
22:30 9tsp potato starch mixed in 100ml water (100 ml Luke-warm water drawn from a mixture of 250ml cold water + 250ml hot water + 50 ml hot water)
1:30-8:45 (7.15) refreshing sleep, { was it because of potato starch? no yolks, no protein, and avocado fiber in early morning.}

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
October 5, 2014 {No Wai items today, unavoidable social occasion}
- 1 banana, 1 spoon of sugar in 100ml water
- 1 bite or steamed rice wrapped pork bits, 1 small piece of steamed pork, 1 shrimp dumpling, 1 shrimp and veggie dumpling, 1 bite of BBQ pork bun, mango pudding 2 spoons, 3 spoons of glutinous rice, 2 sips of tea.
- mango juice with tapioca pearls 500ml.
- Korean noodles in soup, potato pork bone soup with, side dishes of kimchi, 5 spoonfuls of rice, 3 strips of fried pork (mainly fried batter, barely any meat 1.5 x 1 x 8 cm), 3 pieces of Korean BBQ ribs (4 x 0.7 x 3 cm), dry strings of salad like radish, 60ml of tea.
---
- Potato starch probably caused small volumes of gas expelled the whole day, but mainly during the afternoon and evening after I ate solid foods.
00:00-8:45; good sleep though (calories probably). But nothing happened; I really mean nothing happened, no pimples from this whole day of junk! {I thought the very fried batter on the pork would do the trick, but it did not.}

October 9, 2014 Rule Breaking Version adds not Wai items(-1.9.9)

00:00-9:45 Sleep~~~~~ {hmm could it be all that food that makes me wake up later?}
---
- no pimples currently.
- caved into junk foods; tomatoes just ran out of stock
-----
Last night I dreamed of: ~~~~~ a hallway painted in graffiti of purples and oranges, from one end of the hallway it looks dark purpley blues scary, but once I ran through it to the other end and looked back it became shades of bright orange yellow and speckles of spring green. The technique in painting the hallway was that the paints were applied on a rough stucco texture, where on one side of the stucco surface it was painted in purple and the other half side orange. ~~~~~

*** So my Wai-counter is going cold, so is my not-Wai-counter; some grey fuzzy warm zone I am in. What acclimatize aytundra can definitely say is that she is no where near reaching the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 95% Wai. With each unmarked diary entry it sinks my Wai-CGPA. Of course raw aytundra should not be disheartened by such facts in crave-acclimatize-aytundra's opinion, after all we've agreed to a No Cold Turkey method, hence today's diary entry contains warmed turkey { , "i think turkey ham tastes great!" - taste aytundra} | {GrrOwls..."How is that right?" - raw aytundra }

Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
what is your exercise regimen? I havent read the entire diary (sheesh 19 pages) do you mention it earlier? I don't think you should expect pimple-free skin if you dont get exercise, unless you eat perfectly which is extremely hard to do without exercise because they both work together to make you healthier and then crave healthier food
Re: Aytundra's Diary (not Wai diet)
this forum really needs some settings tweaking. cant even alter a post 11 mins later
append to last post:
after all, what you really want is a body that can better digest all foods, have better oxygen transport and better chemical reactions (from vibrations in exercise for example), so that all your organs (brain too) function better
food alone can't do all of that, the best food can do is prevent malnutrition and prevent toxic load (if consume a perfect diet)
